Tess Daly in Suzanne Neville gown for BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing Grand final 2011
Tess Daly wears a one off custom made Suzanne Neville gown for BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing Grand final 2011
Suzanne and her team have worked closely with Tess to come up with the show stopping design for the The Strictly Grand Final, from the Tower Ballroom in Blackpool this weekend. The short dress has been worked on continuously for the past 2 weeks in the London studio, using 10 meters of black french lace over nude silk satin, with a lace and tulle train, and a hand beaded belt.
The black lace and satin dress has a plunging neckline, short skirt, and dramatic floor length train attached to the dress with a hand beaded swarovski crystal belt. The belt alone took 3 days to create as every crystal has been individually attached, and 4 hand finishers have worked tirelessly to embroider extra delicate lace to the bodice, train and hem of the gown.
Designer Suzanne Neville commented:
“Its such a privilege to be dressing Tess Daly for the Strictly Come Dancing Grand Final this weekend, she looks sensational in the gown we have created”
